Welcome to the website of the Tay Ringing Group. These pages are full of information for anyone interested in bird ringing, and ornithology.
Bird ringing is ornithological research fieldwork aimed at providing high quality data to help understand and promote the conservation of birds and their habitats.
The Tay Ringing Group will promote the conservation of birds through its ringing studies in Tayside. We will carry out this field conservation work by managing the Tay Ringing Group as a charity and constituted group of dedicated volunteers.
The opportunities to promote and educate people through publications and information exchange on the subject of our bird studies will ensure that members of the public and professionals gain an appreciation for birds and their habitats today in our countryside today.
